All the best for 2010

2009 proved a very good year for the Association thanks to the excellent advice and support we received from Edinburgh World Heritage, Historic Scotland, Edinburgh City Council and EVOC.

I’d also like to thank the committee for the hard work they’ve put in during the past year, especially the ladies responsible for the catering arrangements which turn our events into such special occasions, plus the members of the public who regularly support our exhibitions.

I hope I’ve proved worthy of my predecessors Staff Sergeant McKay MBE, John Simpson MA and Sergeant Shannon during my term as Chairman. We’ve got a full programme arranged for this year starting with Greyfriars Bobby Day on 14th January.

Members should assemble at Bobby’s memorial stone, Greyfriars Kirk at 12.30 pm.
