Mark Owens of the Army Press Department shows

This week’s photograph taken by Mark Owens of the Army Press Department shows the frame containing photographs of the re-enactment of the first firing of the One o’ Clock Gun.

Which took place in June, after it was presented to George Robinson, Secretary of the One o’ Clock Gun & Time Ball Association. The presentation was made by Lieutenant Colonel Huthwaite, Commanding Officer of 105th Regt RA (V) at the City Chambers last month.

Colonel Huthwaite was accompanied by RSM Roxby who trained the re-enactment gun team.

105th Regt RA (V) celebrates the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Regiment on Saturday at Artillery House, Colinton, Edinburgh.

The new series of ‘Winter Monday’ talks on board HM Frigate Unicorn, Dundee commences on Monday 14th November at 7.00pm when Alistair Urquhart kicks off the season with ‘The Forgotten Highlander’.
