The re-enactment of the first firing of the time-gun...
The re-enactment of the first firing of the One o' Clock Gun took place on the Half Moon Battery, Edinburgh Castle on 11th June 2011. The gun team consisted of WO1) RSM Craig Roxby, Sergeant Gray, Gunner Powell and Gunner Barker, 105th Regt RA (V).

Time Service Exhibition...
The Association collaborated with the City of Edinburgh Council to set up an exhibition on the town's time service which opened in April 2002.
The photograph taken by David Liddle shows the transit telescope and a working model of the time ball built by Nick Sanders.
The exhibition was set up in Huntly House now the Museum of Edinburgh. The gunner's uniform in the background belonged to Battery Quartermaster Sergeant Dixie Deans who fired the One o' clock Gun from 1972 until 1979. Photograph courtesy of David Liddle.
