The event to mark the 25th anniversary

The event to mark the 25th anniversary of the formation of 105th Regt RA. (V) was a great success.

Colonel Huthwaite 105th’s commanding officer flew back from the U.S.A. to attend the event.

Following a first class lunch the diners were entertained at their tables by a magician and a caricaturist who drew lightning sketches of guests brave enough to pose.

The celebration was closed by the pipers from 40th Regt RA (Lowland Gunners) who beat retreat on the square outside Artillery House.

This was a historic occasion as the Lowland Gunners are to be disbanded next year.
